Communication with Parents/Carers

Parental Engagement

We are keen to involve parents and carers with their child’s education whilst at Cloughside College and do this through reviews, CPA (Care Program Approach) meetings and written reports that are sent home regularly. We also host open events and parents’ evenings.

We appreciate that some parents and carers live a considerable distance away from school and are always happy to accommodate requests for visits to see the college with flexibility and understanding.

If a parent/carer would like further information about any aspect of the school or to arrange a visit, they should contact the school office and we will be happy to help.

Parental Feedback

We welcome feedback from parents/carers by email, telephone and through the completion of our questionnaires at parents' evening. You are also welcome to visit the school and give feedback during your visit.

We would encourage parents to complete the Ofsted Parent view questionnaire. Please click the link on this page to view the questionnaire.

Complaints

We welcome your feedback about our College. If the feedback is a concern or complaint, we seek to resolve matters that are brought to our attention as quickly as possible. We would aim to resolve many issues informally. However, should your matter not be resolved you can make a formal complaint if you wish to do so.

If you wish to bring a concern to our attention, please email or telephone the College.

In the first instance please contact our School Business Manager Mrs Claire Greenhalgh so she can direct your concern to the most appropriate person.

If you feel your concern has not been resolved, please make an appointment to see the headteacher Mrs Karen Ingham.
